It's going on two and a half weeks ago, but my mind is obviously still on island time...

Nearing the end of The Road to Hana we came across a shack-like convenience store with rows of shelves on each wall FILLED with antiques. Sadly, none for sale.

::starting early::

We're taking off a little early this week. Our good friend from college is celebrating his birthday with a weekend on the water with fireworks, booze and the warm Kentucky sunshine. Not too shabby if you ask me. I've never been to KY, but I'm sure it'll be just perfect. We haven't seen this group in a while and it's always nice to reconnect and share stories. Hopefully I return well relaxed and with sun-kissed skin.
