::rustic interiors::
My heart goes pitter-patter when I see paint-chipped wood and rustic decor. I always wonder where the pieces have been and who used them long ago. How great is that old ladder turned shelf? Would be fairly easy to make with an old pallet. Add that one to the 'make it' list.

::farmland::
The graduation party was held at one of the graduate's family farm. The 30 minute drive from the college took us miles away from any store and into the quiet farmland-- dairy farms, goats, and silver silos around every hilly corner. His dad built their house some 25 years ago; a quaint dark wood cottage-like home that sits nestled behind old oak trees. There are five houses on this farm, and they each share duties raising a few cows.
I'm so connected most of the time that I love getting away and thinking about a more simplistic lifestyle.

::window seating charts // ruffled::
Remember the window seating charts I created for Devon? Well, her beautiful ranch wedding was featured on Ruffled blog. The images are incredible, thanks to Stone Crandall Photography, and tons of vintage items. She and her now husband spent a year gathering old wooden crates, antique spoons and other treasures for her big day. She rallied a handful of Etsy artists to complete the finishing touches.
Are you getting hitched? Need some windows? email me for more info.

::wash up::
Got stuck pinning for a while and came across this beautiful bathroom. It's simply decorated with perfect rustic accents and a sleek metal fixtures, all on a white base. Ohh, that raw cut of the stone sink – yes please! Matched with black + white checkered tile, too. I'm excited for the roses to come up...a pleasant scene while I'm brushing my teeth.

::a loft to dream about::
Can't get over how incredible this space is. Shauna & Stephen's loft in Philadelphia was featured in the current issue (No. 6) of Anthology Magazine. It's filled with vintage treasures, books, open spaces and rad collections. I'm green with envy.
The creative duo is behind Something's Hiding in Here and Forage-- so darn talented. Check 'em out.

::lovely textiles + rusticness::
I stumbled across Aurelie Alvarez's website via Fanny's blog. These painted textiles and home decor items are outta this world. The paint chipped walls, peeling wallpaper and rustic colors & accents make my heart skip a beat. I've always loved dressing screens, and those two up there are beyond perfect.

::show off those heels::
How amazing is this wooden shoe ladder from Pottery Barn? I love the rustic, worn-in look, and it's a great way to show off your favorite heels, too. I'll be keeping my eyes peeled for vintage {cheaper} versions to replicate in my home.
