::DIY // a fresh, white mirror::

This past weekend was time for me to catch up on a few projects from my DIY list. J installed a shelf on Saturday and we're displaying some newly acquired records and some of my collected vintage. More on that later in the week.

A while ago I found this old, large (and super heavy) mirror at the thrift store for 10 bucks. I fell in love with the wide floral-patterned frame and the glass is in excellent condition. The frame has seen some wear and tear...but it's better that way. All it needed was a fresh coat of white paint and it's perfect. For now, it's making for a great floor mirror until we can find a wall strong enough for it.

  1. I liked the look of the mirror before but the white gives it a really fresh look. :)

  2. thanks, jayrin. i didn't mind the color before either. i have lots of brown in my living room, so it needs some light colors to brighten it up.
