Got stuck pinning for a while and came across this beautiful bathroom. It's simply decorated with perfect rustic accents and a sleek metal fixtures, all on a white base. Ohh, that raw cut of the stone sink – yes please! Matched with black + white checkered tile, too. I'm excited for the roses to come up...a pleasant scene while I'm brushing my teeth.

To add to the list of beautiful products from Rifle Paper Co...textiles! I spotted their first textile design (for UK's Villa Nova Fabric) on their Facebook page.

I'm starting to keep an eye out for larger furniture pieces. I have an amazing sofa (reupholstered by wonder woman, aka Mom) a badass coffee table, and some vintage side tables that we love, but we could use some cool chairs...like that one up there.

I spotted these beautiful baby sandals on Justina's blog. That's gonna be one stylish baby. I love that these aren't so restricting for tiny toes, they come in all sorts of colors and they paid attention to packaging. Well done, zuzii.

When I was home last month, I was luck enough to see my third niece. She was born a few hours before I flew back to Virginia, so I got to say a sweet little hello. My brother + SIL really make pretty girls.

Ever since Jen Gotch told us how to make these baked eggs, I've been hooked. I made them for J two nights in a row. And by "I made them for J" really means I wanted to try them and can't stop eating them. What more do you need? wine (duh), eggs, spinach, salty meat + more salt. YES.

Old Brand New was one of the first blogs on my radar. It's where I heard the term vintage vulture. Dabito photographs just about everything and his images are always so clean and professional. The shots from his home capture all the little details that make it so unique: his collection of vintage trinkets, flag-shaped molding on the wall and a white-dipped nightstand. Not only are the details in his home, I love seeing the little changes he makes on the design of his blog. His new logo is a graphic treat. While you're there, check out his print shop!

::O is for organization::

I spent a good amount of time last night cleaning and organizing my office. There was a break...to buy that pretty planner up there from Julia Kostreva's shop. In 3-5 days I'll be filling it up (the breaking point, I forgot my indoor soccer game on Wednesday. Early onset Alzheimer's?). I'll pencil you in. 

I've been collecting metal crates like that one and old wooden drawers to use for creative storage in the office for all my "supplies." They look so much better than the plastic drawers I have hiding under the tables. There's lots of stuff in here. The goal is to keep my desktop free of clutter. It's amazing what a clean work space can do. Of course, the walls are fair game and we'll try to keep it on a stead rotation. After a successful show last weekend, I'm finding more events to venture to and couldn't be happier. With the fun stuff lined up, there are always business things to do.

Instantly on my to make list: these dyed ribbons from Ruffled blog. I'm always looking for fun new ways to package items whether it's for gift wrapping or my shop packaging. Or, you could just tie one in your hair. And of course the colors choices are endless.

Ever since I got a Wacom tablet I've been playing around with handwritten type and using hand-drawn elements in some of my design work. As I continue working on my new blog and website, I'll definitely be incorporating some personal touches (maybe a drawing or two).

Last weekend I set up shop in Olde Towne for the monthly Antiques to Flea Market. A goal of mine this year is to do more shows and make connections with local shops to bring 6 petals offline as well. It was nice to meet other vendors who appreciate beautiful old things as much as I do. And, it was great to have a few of my friends come out and see what I do!

I left the show feeling completely satisfied. It's not easy loading, setting up, breaking down and unpacking, but it's so rewarding when people appreciate the display and collection. Another new addition is the ability to accept credit cards at my booth– this little guy is awesome.

::a loft to dream about::

Can't get over how incredible this space is. Shauna & Stephen's loft in Philadelphia was featured in the current issue (No. 6) of Anthology Magazine. It's filled with vintage treasures, books, open spaces and rad collections. I'm green with envy.

The creative duo is behind Something's Hiding in Here and Forage-- so darn talented. Check 'em out.
